パブロ・ピカソ Pablo Picasso(1881 – 1973)
スペイン生まれの画家、素描家、彫刻家。ジョルジュ・ブラックと共に、革新的な美術表現「キュビスム」を創始した。ピカソは、作風がめまぐるしく変化した画家として有名。
生涯を通しておよそ13,500点の油絵と素描、100,000点の版画、34,000点の挿絵を制作した。代表作は、『ゲルニカ』『アヴィニョンの娘たち』『泣く女』など。
